Ingredients and seasonings used in prepare
  1. Prepare 3 Large Potato's
  2. Prepare 2 tbsp Corn flour
  3. Use 2 tbsp Red chilli flacks
  4. Use 2 tbsp Chat masala powder
  5. Prepare 2 tbsp Dry mixed herbs
  6. Take 2 tbsp Chopped Coriander
  7. Prepare Salt to taste
  8. Prepare Oil to fry

Drain using a slotted ladle and transfer to a kitchen towel. Mix cornstarch, salt, mint powder, citric acid, red and black pepper together. Sprinkle the spice mix over potatoes and mix well so all the fries are covered with spices. Heat the oil in frying pan on medium high heat.

How to make Masala French Fries:
  1. Peel the potatoes, rinse thoroughly and cut into squre long sticks and soak potatoes in chilled water for 15 minutes. This will remove excess starch from potatoes.
  2. Now, heat 2 glasses of water in a pan, add salt, potato sticks and boil it for 3 minutes. Now remove the sticks from the water and dry all the sticks with a cloth.
  3. Now, mix cornflour, black pepper, chat masala, red chili flacks and mix herbs in a bowl and sprinkle the same over potatoes sticks and mix well so all the sticks coated with spices.
  4. Now, heat the oil in frying pan on medium high flame, one the oil is ready, fry the sticks for 5 minutes and let the fries cool down.
  5. After sometime again fry the fries for the next 5 mintues untill they become gold colored all around, keep turning the fries a few times while frying.
  6. Now, remove the fries from oil. Serve hot and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
  7. Done and ready to serve!

To check if the oil is ready, just put potato strip in frying pan. Process Heat oil in a pan, add chopped ginger and garlic. Add green chillies, allow to crackle. Add onions and sauté till translucent. Add tomato ketchup and mix well.
