  7. Done and ready to serve!

Remove bacon pieces and set aside. Add the potatoes in the pot of cold water and bring to a boil. After that, heat olive oil in a frying pan. Once that heats up, add butter and allow that to warm up too. Add the parboiled potatoes and the salt to taste.
