Cover and cook on slow flame till the water evaporates and the apple and mango become soft. Grate the apples finely and discard the core. Once the ghee melts, add the grated apples to the pan. Saute the apples over the medium flame while stirring constantly.

  1. In a cooking pan take 2 tsp of Ghee and allow it to heat.
  2. Add 1 tsp of Jeera, 1 tsp of chopped Green Chillies followed by few Curry Leaves and 1 tsp of Peanuts.

  4. Then add unpeeled Apple pieces and sauté the Apples nicely for 3 – 4 Min.
  5. Add ¼ tsp of Red Chilli Powder and ¼ tsp of Vrat Salt and mix well.
  6. Add 1 tsp of Lemon juice and 2 tsp of Peanut Powder and mix well.
  7. Cover the lid and cook on low flame for 2 Min.
  8. Apple Khichadi is ready to serve hot.
  9. Done and ready to serve!
