Both are great - but sometimes you just want those crispy noodles. So after that mix up, I've been trying to perfect a homemade chow mein dish. You know, so I don't have to constantly fight about chow mein versus lo mein with Ben. Both lo mein and chow mein are made with Chinese egg noodles—wheat flour noodles with egg added. Either way, the noodles need to be softened in boiling water before cooking.
me, the simple preparation of Chow Mein above can help you prepare dishes that are interesting and delicious. great for family/friends Hope it’s useful and good luck!
