Ingredients and seasonings used for make
  1. Prepare 2 tablespoons canola oil
  2. Prepare 1/4 head boneless chicken thinly sliced
  3. Prepare 1/4 head cabbage thinly sliced
  4. Prepare 1/4 head carrot thinly sliced
  5. Prepare 1/4 head capsicum thinly sliced
  6. Prepare 2 cloves garlic, crushed and minced
  7. Prepare 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
  8. Use 2 tablespoons soya sauce
  9. Prepare 4 tablespoons oyster sauce
  10. Use 12 ounces chow mein noodles
  11. Take 1 cup water
  12. Prepare sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Stir in the green beans or bean sprouts and soy sauce. Heat up a skillet or wok with the oil. Add in the garlic and stir-fry until light brown or aromatic. Add the chicken and shrimp and stir fry until they are half cooked.

How to make Chow mein:
  1. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook egg noodles until done. Rinse under cold running water. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat a large pan or wok on high heat. Add two tablespoons of canola oil to the pan and cook the chicken. Cook  until wilted, add the garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds. Add the cabbage, carrot, capsicum and soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, oyster sauce and water and bring to a boil for 1 minute.
  3. Add in the pasta and toss to coat. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top with green onion. Serve immediately
  4. Done and ready to serve!
