  5. Add onions after turning potatoes the 2nd time. If you add too soon in the process, the onions will burn. Turn burner down to medium after adding onions. Covering with a lid at this point helps.
  6. Potatoes are done when tender and browned.

  8. Done and ready to serve!

Uncover and increase the heat to medium-high. Taste and adjust the seasonings, adding more salt, if needed. Heat oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Once the oil is hot, add potato slices. Fry until browned, flip potatoes often to brown all sides to the desired crispness.
